United Nations Office on Drugs & Crime (UNODC)

UNODC promotes long-term and sustainable capacity building in the fight against cybercrime through supporting national structures and action.
Specifically, UNODC draws upon its specialized expertise on criminal justice systems response to provide technical assistance in capacity building, prevention and awareness raising, international cooperation, and data collection, research and analysis on cybercrime.
Our Objectives
- Prevention - Increased knowledge and raising awareness on cybercrime to mitigate risks
- Regulatory Framework - Improved legal and operational frameworks leading to sustainable cybercrime responses
- Capacity Building - Strengthened institutional skills and capacities to prevent, disrupt, investigate, prosecute and adjudicate cybercrime according to human rights standards
- Cooperation - Strengthened inter-agency and international cooperation among all actors (state, private sector, civil society)
