TechBase is an innovation and start-up center, managed by R-Tech GmbH. In the TechBase, technology-oriented start-ups find optimal conditions for successful business development: favorable conditions, individual advice, networking with industry, investors and science.

Applied research is an important catalyst for innovation and growth. With the TechLab, the city of Regensburg has created a special area in the TechBase where science and industry can research and work together. In addition to 300 offices, an additional 1,000 square meters of workshop and laboratory space are available for temporary research teams from universities and start-ups. Some spin-offs have already emerged from the research projects.
