Simula Research Laboratory

Simula Research Laboratory carries out research in the fields of communication systems, scientific computing and software engineering.

Researchers at Simula solve important and fundamental problems of science and engineering that are of value to society, with a particular focus on five main research areas within ICT. The areas are Communication Systems, Cryptography, Scientific Computing, Software Engineering and Machine Learning.

Simula activities include the Center for Resilient Networks and Applications (CRNA) which carries out long term research on the robustness of telecommunication networks and infrastructure.
