HunCERT

HunCERT's mission is to assist the Hungarian Internet Society, in particular the Hungarian Internet Service Providers, in applying appropriate procedures to address the risks of computer network incidents and to respond to such incidents.

HunCERT is a group based in MTA SZTAKI, which was established and operated with the support of the Council of Internet Service Providers (ISZT). It is responsible for assisting in the detection, analysis and management of network incidents in ISZT member organisations. It also aims to raise safety awareness. The latter activity is not primarily aimed at professional computing professionals, but rather to provide information to a large number of users of ISZT members that enables them to fully understand the risks associated with using the Internet and to successfully defend them.
