ECySA was formed to play an influential part in the ongoing and dawning cybersecurity practices of Ethiopia, efficiently creating public and private awareness on all kinds of cyber risks and threats.

Work to empower human capacity in securing systems and infrastructure resources, and to support the principles of confidentiality, integrity and availability of information for the public sector, private businesses and individual citizens. 

Create a valuable network of national and international experts to share skills & knowledge, expand risk management exercises, adapting to best practices and standards for appropriate Information technology. 

Engage in consulting services to measure and enhance the nation’s success in cyber-security policy development and implementation, mitigation of attacks, network & service up-time, data loss prevention and relevant performance metrics.
