Cybercrime Investigation & Coordinating Center (CICC)

The Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) is an attached agency of the Philippines Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).

CICC is responsible for all functions related to cybersecurity including the formulation of the Philippines National Cybersecurity Plan, establishment of the National Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), and the facilitation of international cooperation on intelligence regarding cybersecurity matters.

Powers & Functions

To formulate a national cybersecurity plan and extend immediate assistance for the suppression of real-time commission of cybercrime offenses through a computer emergency response team (CERT)
To coordinate the preparation of appropriate and effective measures to prevent and suppress cybercrime activities
To monitor cybercrime cases being bandied by participating law enforcement and prosecution agencies
