VP of Marketing

Position Purpose: To establish Kudelski Security as a Global thought 
leader in Cyber Security. Provide an efficient and effective horizontal 
marketing platform to the respective business Practices and product/service 
units by defining the marketing strategy and overseeing Kudelski Security 
in-bound and out-bound marketing activities which include: Kudelski 
Security brand marketing, partner marketing, and product marketing.


Reports to: SVP, HoF Kudelski Security


Supervises: KS Marketing team (approx. 3-5 FTEs).

Overall Responsibilities:

* Drive, develop and evolve Kudelski Security Marketing strategy and
roadmap via strategic planning which includes positioning in markets
and competitive analysis, customer segmentation and penetration plans
and related product positioning


* Oversee and lead marketing communications including branding, public
relations, advertising, white papers, trade shows, seminars and
events collateral materials, analyst and market research management
as well as web design


* Actively develop and lead social media campaigns


* Define and direct marketing programs for demand creation, lead
generation, tracking and management by working closely with VPs and
Heads of Practice


* Work closely with the Product Marketing Manager on product launch
management, presentations, marketing briefings for both inbound and
outbound purposes (customers, partners), developing website content
to strategically reflect Kudelski Security service approach and
associated branding


* Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing
activities


* Be a credible spokesperson in front of both larger audiences (such as
encountered in the case of conferences) and one-on-one interactions
with trade analysts, trade press representatives etc.

* Coach the respective members of the marketing team both in terms of
developing concrete messages for their areas of focus as well as
their generic external communication skills.

* Work with the SVP, VP and Heads of Practice to identify and develop
strategic alliances, communicate with the BoD and grow major customer
accounts

* Manage the Kudelski marketing budget

Competence management

* Review, recommend and maintain the optimum structure for the
management team to ensure an efficient marketing support is offered
to the business practices

* Identify, recruit, train and develop the right people to build the
strongest, most innovative marketing team possible

Profile

A self-driven, autonomous and highly motivated proven marketing 
professional familiar with digital marketing, the Cyber Security/Innovative 
Technology industry and able to engage customers from engineers through to 
C level executives.

a) Experience & Background:

* Minimum 8 years management and leadership experience in an
international, multi-cultural business environment
* In depth knowledge of the Cyber Security industry or an Innovative
Technology industry and a profound understanding of its forces and
trends
* Successful track record of developing and delivering on strategic and
innovative marketing and sales strategies that have exceeded
expectations
* Developed and lead successful digital marketing campaigns
* Exposure to business development
* Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Experience in working with trade analysts and trade journalists
* Proven experience in successfully building and managing a marking
team that is results driven and team orientated
* Proven evidence of successfully working in matrix organization and
demonstrated leadership skills including management-by-influence

b) Qualifications:

* Advanced university degree in technology / computer science, or
equivalent
* Ideally, an additional business qualification / MBA or equivalent
skill base through experience

c) Languages:

* Fluent English (native or equivalent) required, French an asset.
