Darktrace Wins Fortress Cyber Security Award
Darktrace AI-powered email security technology, Antigena Email, has been selected as Application Security Winner in the 2020 Fortress Cyber Security Awards, hosted by the Business Intelligence Group.
Powered by cyber AI, Antigena Email works by forming an evolving understanding of ‘normal activity’ for email environments and the individual users within them, enabling it to detect incoming novel and targeted attacks that traditional tools miss, including domain spoofing, supply chain account takeovers, and impersonation attempts.
The Fortress Cyber Security Awards aims to identify and reward the world’s leading companies and products that work to keep our data and electronic assets safe among the increased threats from hackers.
A surge in COVID-19 related email attacks has led to the number of customers using Antigena Email to double since January 2020, while the number of requests to trial Antigena Email has quadrupled since the lockdown began in early March. “Cyber-threats in the inbox are more frequent and sophisticated than ever before, and malicious emails are becoming virtually impossible to spot with the human eye.....AI has shown to be the most effective way to detect and automatically block these novel emails in real time, and we are honoured to be recognised by the Business Intelligence Group for our world-leading AI security for the inbox.” commented Poppy Gustafsson, joint CEO of Darktrace.
The Business Intelligence Group has also announced that the EndaceProbe Analytics Platform has won in the Network Security category.
The industry awards program sought to identify and reward the world’s leading companies and products that are working to keep our data and electronic assets safe among a growing threat from hackers.
