China Admits to Having Cyber Warfare Units
China has finally admitted that it has cyber warfare units and plenty of hackers attached with them.
According to gizmodo.com, the Chinese government has previously denied having made any organized cyber warfare efforts, despite investigations pinning blame for hacking attacks on the US on the People's Liberation Army.
China broke from its tradition of denying everything related to digital spying and network attack capabilities and explicitly revealed that it has specialized units devoted to using computers as weapons, reports gizmodo.in.
This explicit reveal could change the often-tense dynamic between Beijing and Washington, since it makes China's usual tactic of denying every-thing way less effective.
